"Why are successful people so successful & positive? Because that’s how their mentality is set. Something I need to work on! ;D Like the little choo choo train I learned in Kindergarten, I think I can I think I can! ♥ Hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day! It’s not a day only for couples you know.. for all you single people, have a great V-Day with close friends & fam!;] -Thao Nguyen."
IT IS their mentality! I am the living proof. It’s really sad, that a lot of kids like me grew up around so much NEGATIVITY & STUPIDITY. This seriously saddens me. I grew up thinking everyone hated me, so i didn’t appreciate myself. I was harassed by my cousin and no one helped me out of it. I made some really horrible decisions when it came to making friends, cause i didn’t know what it was like to have someone truly care about you. Then I made super stupid decisions on who to date. I was with guys who’d treat me like shit, yet tell me that they’re the only ones that love me, abuse me, leave me when I was pregnant. I failed like more than 30% of the classes i took in high school. It took me 5 years to graduate. I was basically a failure.
But after all that- I started talking to a cool friend. He helped me a lot, with all the talks, and laughter we shared. It made me feel better, have hope. y’ know? Then I started selling cosmetics and did tutoring programs it proved to me that I wasn’t stupid after all. All in all, I started climbing out of that really dark moment I was in, and I grew up in.
Years later, I found my present bf. And I won’t say every moment was great. There was some “I can’t believe this shit!” and fights and stuff. And a really really scary dark moment I overcame, that shows that I am a survivor- I am stronger than I believe I am. That I am capable of being the best mommy ever, the best wifey ever. That I am Priceless.
Then 4 months later I gave birth to my son. My son, is one of the biggest reasons why I am always so positive and strive to succeed. He is the fuel to it all. With the happiness he provides. He has definitely change the way I view everything, and the way I react to everything. My mind is focused on being positive & successful.
Today am a future professional at Paul Mitchell the School. I aim to graduate on the deans list. I recently got my first real job that i had to interview for at Coach. And I am a Awesome new mommy.
I must say I have exceeded my own expectations I had for myself before. And its all because my mentality changed. I am no longer trying to be around anything negative. And I am being open minded to learning everything, and to changes that’ll help me be successful.
